Bhushan Bhombale is a multidisciplinary artist working across collage, decoupage, and sculpture. His practice transforms discarded and everyday materials into layered compositions built around absence and void as much as presence, drawing on architectural and astronomical geometries.  Rooted in his childhood in Bhusawal, alongside his father's tyre-repair garage, Bhombale's work turns scarcity and found material into a language of form. 

He studied at the L. S. Raheja School of Art, Mumbai, and Sir J. J. School of Art, Mumbai. Solo presentations include shows at 154, London (2025); Stranger's House Gallery, Mumbai (2024); and Gallery Art & Soul, Mumbai (2022).

Group exhibitions include the São Paulo Biennale, São Paulo, Brazil (2025); Dakar Biennale, Dakar, Senegal (2024); Cairo Biennale, Cairo, Egypt (2023); Gallery Art & Soul, Mumbai (2023); India Art Fair, Art & Soul Foundation, New Delhi (2022); and Jehangir Art Gallery, Mumbai (2019).

Bhombale is the recipient of the State Art Award, Mumbai (2017), and the N. S. Bendre Foundation Award, Jehangir Monsoon Show, Mumbai (2013).
